Here at StratX It, we are committed to serving our customers at the highest level possible. That is why we are taking a moment today to bring you this consumer alert in an effort to help you and your staff prepare for an upcoming update to all Windows 7 Users.

 

Preparation Required Prior to January 2020

Microsoft has announced the End-of-life for Windows 7.Starting January 2020, Microsoft will officially stop supporting the ever-popular Windows 7 Software, ending support for bug fixes and security updates. Drawing an official end to its long-lasting lifecycle.

 

It’s Your Right to Know and Our Responsibility to Inform You

If you are currently a client of ours, our AI Software would have already detected that your network is currently using Windows 7 products and licenses in your office, prompting an alert notification to email out to you. If you are not a client, but you know you are using Windows 7 Software, it will be in your best interest to upgrade these workstations before January of 2020. This may require machines to be upgraded or replaced. These software updates are important as Windows will no longer support Windows 7. You will be able to still use your machines after January 2020, however, your network will be vulnerable and Windows will hold no responsibility for any virus or security conflicts.
